MEET SAM OJIE

Sam Ojie has proven to be one the best volleyball players and one of the most sought after volleyball coaches in the United States. Sam has coached with five successful NCAA Division I programs since his arrival in the U.S. in ’99 from playing professional volleyball in Europe. In all five institutions, Sam helped players achieve all conference honors and coached some of the best blockers in the country. While assisting The University of Oklahoma and Louisiana State University (the 2 previous universities he worked at) he was a huge part of their successful volleyball leagues that helped lead them to participate in the NCAA post season tournament, highlighted by a sweet 16 appearance in 2010.

Sam follows a unique set of volleyball coaching strategies that are second to none. Sam has combined his international playing experience with his NCAA college volleyball coach experience, which makes him an exceptional trainer. His volleyball practice sessions are always challenging yet fun and are filled with positive encouragement and inspiring words about how volleyball relates to life. Also known for his passion for blocking, Sam has devised new and efficient ways to teach blocking to players and coaches as part of his volleyball coach training.

Sam is fluent in three languages and is a graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Media Arts and an Associate Degree in Applied Business.
